Dawn is a person-centred BACP accredited counsellor.
She has specialist knowledge of the boarding and independent school sector through her work with ex-pupils, in addition to attending the ‘Unmaking of Them : Boarding School Survivors Diploma Course’ and writing her dissertation on the effects of attending boys boarding school and it’s impact on adult life.
Her focus is on the person rather than the experience, so that together she works with clients towards understanding the feelings that are feeding into the behaviours. These behaviours may be anxiety, self-worth, triggering due to trauma and so forth.
This aims to help you develop the resources within yourself to grow and change your life. She will work with you to help you find ways to heal, build greater strength, improve relationships, feel happier and be more authentically yourself
