I am passionate about empowering people to improve their lives. I believe that within us, we all, have the potential to grow and I aim to assist in removing the obstacles to that growth via supportive, sometimes gently challenging, collaborative discussion.
I have undertaken extensive training and qualified in numerous psychological approaches. This includes person centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused therapy, coaching, EMDR (a specialist trauma treatment) clinical supervision, mindfulness and more. I also gained a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2010 and I am BACP accredited and EMDR accredited.
I have been a clinician for 18 years and have had a decade of experience in NHS and higher education, as well as private practice. My area of expertise and interest is Trauma, and I have worked extensively with clients from boarding and independent school backgrounds.
